Dunion & Co was established in Stoke on Trent in 2008 by Diane Dunion, Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. Diane’s career in insolvency began in 1990 when she joined the Insolvency Service, where she remained for 10 years before moving to a local firm of insolvency practitioners and qualifying as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2002. Between 2005 and 2008, Diane worked as an Insolvency Practitioner in Manchester where she handled a high volume of Individual Voluntary Arrangements, returning to Stoke in 2008 to set up her practice.
Diane is passionate about offering assistance to those in financial difficulty, carefully considering the position before suggesting a tailored solution best suited to the business or individual.
The team has over 50 years’ experience of insolvency. Meet The Team
Ben gained his Law Degree before completing his Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He then took a role at the Insolvency Service, before joining Dunion and Co. in 2011 as he was keen to further pursue his passion for insolvency, with the intention of one day becoming an appointment taker. Ben gained his CPI qualification in 2013 and is currently in the process of sitting his JIEB. Ben specialises in corporate matters.

Nicky gained her dual honors Law Degree (with Business Administration / Marketing), before completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Nicky is CPPI qualified and specialises in Personal Insolvency, bringing a wealth of experience to the firm after having spent seven years at a ‘top four’ accountancy firm in Birmingham. Nicky primarily deals with Bankruptcy matters and complex Individual Voluntary Arrangements, as well as providing assistance with Business Development and Marketing.

Emma gained her NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Business Administration, before taking a position within a ‘top four’ big firm. She remained with the firm for 12 years, specialising in bankruptcy. Emma joined Dunion and Co. in July 2014 and has since broadened her knowledge of other areas of insolvency; she now deals with a varied portfolio of Individual Voluntary Arrangements.
